Step 1 – Prepare the materials

Collecting shells from a beach is a wonderful activity but you can also source shells from many shops.

Step 2 – Paint the shells

Painting the shells is a really simple and enjoyable task. Children may chose to stick with single colours or alternatively they may chose to design their own patterns.

Step 3 – Sprinkle with glitter

As each shell is painted, sprinkle the shell with glitter. It’s important to sprinkle the glitter before the paint dries to enable the glitter to stick to the paint.
