Step 1 – Prepare the materials
You will need 6 die to play this game. You will also need two scoreboards and a playing board. We simply laminated white A4 paper and used whiteboard markers for this.
Step 2 – Set-up the game
To set-up the game each player will receive their own score board along with 3 die. The next step is to place a playing board in the centre of the two players. Use a whiteboard marker to draw a “playing ring” on the playing board.
Step 3 – Start the game
To start the first round each player takes a dice and rolls the dice into the ring at the same time. When the two die have landed within the ring, the player who threw the dice with the highest number wins and they get to keep the two die from the board.
If the numbers on the two die are equal then the players roll again and the player who wins the next round will win all four die.
Step 4 – Continue in rounds to determine the winner
The players repeat these steps as rounds until eventually one player will be left without any dice and they will lose the game.
